Since its opening in October 2006, Blackrock Archery (South Wales) has quickly developed into one of the countries best facilities for the three S’s of archery, Shopping, Shooting and Socialising!

The shop floor is on ground level and spans 96sqm (315sqft). Here you can take your time to browse the accessories on offer as well as ponder over your future recurve or compound bows which are also on display.
If you want to take the weight off your feet then help yourself to a tea or coffee and take a seat. There will always be some interesting literature to keep you entertained should you need a break from your shopping or shooting.

Upstairs you will find our range and workshop. Our 10m range has three target bosses on which you can try bows or stabilizers before you buy. Our bow press is also upstairs so changes to setups on recurves or compounds can easily be done and can be tested on the range. Tuning and training can also be done on our range. There is a nominal £5.00 membership charge for one year and then the range can be used for only £2.00 per hour. You can then make use of our paper tuner and chronograph for free and hire a video camera for a small fee. Warning! A number of archers use the range on regular basis. Armed with coffee, conversation, and the temptation of goods on offer in our shop your visit to Blackrock may last a little longer than expected. From the East M4: Take exit 34 off the M4. At the roundabout take the 3rd exit heading for Llantrisant. Head straight on through 2 sets of traffic lights. At the Roundabout take the 1st exit. Continue forward at the roundabout passing McDonalds. At the traffic lights continue forward. At the roundabout take the 1st exit. At the roundabout take the 2nd exit into Coedcae Lane. Take the 1st right turn into Coedcae Lane Ind Estate. Continue forward through the estate until reaching a roundabout. Bare left at the roundabout and then 1st left. We are now in front of you!

From the West M4: Take exit 35 off the M4. At the roundabout bear left onto the dual carriage way. At the roundabout continue forward (2nd exit). At the roundabout take the 2nd exit. At the roundabout take the 3rd exit signposted Llanharan. Continue forward at the roundabout (new) and then stay on this road through Llanharan for approximately 4 miles passing the High Corner House pub on a sharp right hand bend after approximately 2 miles. At the (small) roundabout continue forward. At the roundabout take the 4th exit entering Coedcae Lane. Take the 1st right entering Coedcae Lane Ind Estate. Continue forward through the estate until reaching a roundabout. Bare left at the roundabout and then 1st left. We are now in front of you!
